Great experience working with Tyler for a couple of plumbing jobs.

We just moved into the Greeley area from out-of-state. Found a leak under the sink in our master bedroom shortly after moving in. Wanted to have everything checked out. We saw an Alder plumbing HVAC truck while driving to the grocery store. We needed a plumber and gave them a call. Best decision we’ve made since moving in. Tanner was our plumber for the day. He was professional, friendly, and fun to chat with. He fixed everything and inspected everything necessary to make sure we were good to go. Cost for everything was Real value. Alder is truly our Plumber from now on.

Called about a backup issue. Drew came out to give us an estimate. Found out we needed to have tree roots removed from the exterior sewer line. Fixed the interior back up issue. Then came out a few days later and cleared our sewer line. We were very pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. We were happy with the cost as well. We gutted a bathroom, and Alder Plumbing was recommended by a neighbor. We were so glad we chose them. Tanner was skilled, professional, and so friendly. He always had a smile. I have said before and I’ll say it again….i wish I had the option to give more than 5 stars. This company and their employees have been nothing but amazing! The communication is always clear and all of the staff are friendly and informative. Response time is subpar! If you want the best in the business stop here don’t look any further you wont be sorry!

They are top notch in every way. Drew was our specialist and we could not be more pleased. Alder Plumbing also helped our daughter at her residence several times. One time the Alder rep found a solution to a recurring problem that other plumbers could not figure out. They gave me a veteran's discount, but that is not the reason for a 5 Star Review. They are just that good. On the call, Drew brought in a big muscle builder to help with the hot water heater. It had so much sediment and was in an awkward location. His big muscled helper was also very friendly.

Tour was very professional super friendly showed me everything that he was doing and at the end gave me a 25% discount for being a veteran for the labor and that was pretty sweet and I didn’t even know they were gonna do that. They also helped our daughters house three or four times and she’s been very pleased with them.

I had a leaking drain pipe inside a wall that caused damage to a room below it. The estimate I received was very reasonable, and Drew arrived on time and fixed it efficiently. I had also asked for an estimate on repairing hail damage to an AC unit. It turned out that it wouldn't be cost effective for them to do the work, but Alan showed me how it was a simple DIY job and gave me some maintenance tips. I'll be calling Alder again when I need plumbing or HVAC services.

I wasn't sure if I had an HVAC or plumbing issue, or both, when my basement was pooling with water. Update - July 2024 - I stand by my original 5 star review. I just had Alder complete a new furnace and A/C compressor install in a 78 year old house that had a 20 year old furnace and no central A/C. (See pictures below). The results were exactly what I hoped for and the install looks great inside and outside. Alan "designed" and installed my system after we walked through many options and he answered all my questions/concerns (I admit I ask a lot about things I don't know). Tyler and Tanner also assisted at times and McKenzie kept everything going smoothly in the office with logistics. I opted to go with the Navien HydroFurnace (97% Efficient) with Rheem 17 Seer A/C unit and I'm quite happy about how it came out. Update - Dec 2023 - I just had Alder (Tanner) come out to my new house and remove the old multi-gallon gas tank and add a tankless water heater. This is my 2nd time using Alder (& Tanner) - I attached two pictures - one is for the original review (Feb 2023) below that I forgot to add (front of tank is facing you) and the other picture is for the most recent job (one where it is mounted on a concrete wall with the side facing you.) My opinion hasn't changed - Alder does a great job. Tanner works efficiently, and answers all my random questions. Install looks super clean and happy with where everything was routed. Props to McKenzie in the office for scheduling and getting everything done on the backend as well. Highly Recommend. Feb 2023 - I was very pleased with Alder Plumbing and Tanner specifically. I was recommended to them by a family member who used Alder and was pleased with their work. I had them relocated a tankless water heater to a better location in my basement, and service/clean it as well as cleanup some older plumbing work (spigots, lines, caps, etc.) in the house. Tanner was very professional, willing to discuss ideas, and easily made adjustments to things at my request when I had second thoughts. Having had several houses in the area of varying ages and used many trades, its hard to find quality sometimes and I intend to have them back for additional work when I'm ready for it. Highly recommend.

Tanner installed a radon fan for us. He also called the gas lantern company to troubleshoot an issue we were having. They found the issue & ordered part. He came back & installed it & even checked our other lantern to make sure it was operating properly. On both visits he explained thoroughly what he did. I would highly recommend Alder to anyone needing reliable, friendly & professional plumbing, heating or air work.

I had a gas line manifold which the original plumber installed when the house was built. The gas line was placed such that you would bump it each time you changed filters on the HVAC unit. I decided to have it moved. I contacted a different plumber and was provided an estimate, it was stupid expensive. Drew with Alder provided an estimate which was reasonable. After I approved the estimate, the work was scheduled, performed and the job actually cost less because some parts were not needed. I was really pleased with my entire experience and have placed Alder contact info in my phone for future needs as they arise. Good Job Alder and Drew!

Alder Plumbing sent over a wonderfully helpful technician, Chris. He diagnosed the cause of a water leak behind the wall of our shower faucet in about 1.5 hours and solved the problem in 15 minutes. The previous owners of the house didn't caulk around the faucet in our shower after renovation the bathroom, thus causing water to leak into the wall when we took showers. Chris's experience as a plumber showed as he did his work. We highly recommend Alder Plumbing for when you have plumbing problems!

Drew was prompt, courteous, thorough and communicated well. He was up front on charges and clear about possible changes if a problem occurred. Which, thanks to Murphy’s Law, it did. Drew explained the problem he had encountered and with my approval called in Tanner. Both men were thorough and persistent. After different attempts and approaches, they were unable to solve the problem. They decided to make one more try before getting into $20k territory. YES! It paid off. They were finally able to clear the clog and determined that the 46 year old cast iron pipes were the culprit. Scaling had developed over the years and the scales worked to trap and detain anything and everything that entered their domain. I asked them to remove the scales and thus the pipes should not need to be replaced for awhile. Thanks to Drew and Tanners persistence, expertise and thoughtfulness, I was able to spend only a fraction of what the final bill could have been. Thank you again guys. I cannot recommend Alder Plumbing, Heating & Air highly enough! (I wasn’t kidding……I have you on speed dial).

I was faced with the sore reality of replacing my entire 20 year old HVAC system, even though it was only my furnace that died. I did my due diligence with research and came to a self-educated conclusion, while also meeting with a sizable handful of repair companies. Who can you trust when it feels like some companies use scare tactics? Not once did I get that vibe from Tyler. He was super knowledgeable and so friendly to my questions. He did his very best to work within my comfort zones while also providing his best reccomendations. He was so on point and I had absolute trust in him and the company. Tanner was great to work with and did a great job replacing our tankless water heater despite running into several challenges with the retrofit and venting. He went over all of the options to repair or replace our old unit and didn’t push us to get something we didn’t want or need. He went above and beyond to run back to the warehouse before it closed in order to get a different unit from the original unit we decided on to make it work for our situation. We will not hesitate to rely on Tanner and Alder Plumbing for any future needs.

Tyler was very professional and honest regarding my options to fix vs. replace my furnace. He was able to find a temporary fix to get the heat going which has allowed me a little time to make a decision.

We were very grateful for this because we have been dealing with a pipe leak for over a week which has affected our daily lives with limited water use. The technician, Tanner, arrived right at the beginning of the two-hour appointment window and was the most pleasant, professional, and accommodating tradesman I have ever dealt with. He installed the sink in record time, did an impeccable job, and left the work area cleaner than it was before he arrived. Drew D with Alder Plumbing helped us out with a burst supply line to our irrigation system that drenched our basement ceiling. He also helped diagnose and fix the root cause (high water pressure into the home). He was friendly, professional, had excellent craftmanship and most importantly was incredibly kind and patient with my nosey 5-year-old. He was just an all around nice guy to my whole family and made sure we were left in a better situation than before we engaged Alder. I would highly HIGHLY recommend Alder for plumbing issues and ESPECIALLY DREW. And next time I have a plumbing problem that is out of my league, I know damn well who I'm calling. This was my second time calling Alder Plumbing. They really do a great job. We needed to swap out our kitchen sink, which required the piping underneath to be changed too. Tannner went above and beyond to make sure there were no leaks underneath, but also took his time to make sure the new sink was installed straight, with clean caulk edges. Really a top-notch job. Friendly, on time, and fair pricing.

Used Alder recently to rebuild the flush systems of my toilets. Tyler, who is the owner, came out and was awesome. Not only did he address the problem in a timely manner but was super transparent/reasonable with his prices. Would definitely use/recommend him for any plumbing work in the future!

Drew was very professional and knowledgeable. . Cleared out a clog between our bathroom and our septic system. Also reset our toilet after the seal underneath had also started to leak. Answered the phone the first time we called. Also was here the next morning after a holiday. Once the job was done he cleaned up and thoroughly explained what he had done. Definitely recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Alder plumbing. They were available at very short notice to address a plumbing blockage I had and were on time and very courteous. When I had a follow up issue, they responded immediately, and went above and beyond to address the issue- which wasn't even related to their services (septic clean out) and Tyler (the owner) personally called around septic providers for me. Lit the pilot

Not that there is ever a good time for water to leak into the basement but one day after Christmas when we are out of town was a particularly inconvenient time for it to happen. By the time the city notified us of our excessive water use, several days had passed. We hottailed it home and Alder Plumbing had someone to help us within 15 minutes of us getting home. Drew was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and very easy to work with. Their 5 star ratings are absolutely deserved.

Alder Plumbing blew us away with their assistance on our sump pump issue. Knowledgeable, courteous, and kind customer service! They even helped on a Sunday after hours. I can’t recommend them enough!

Tyler provided emergency plumbing service when our outside spigot failed. He was quick, professional and affordable. I will absolutely refer my friends and call him again for any plumbing needs!

There's a reason this company has gotten a perfect 5 star review: They're capable, reliable, knowledgable, HONEST, and reasonably priced. We called Alder for an emergency plumbing issue on a Saturday and the owner was kind enough to cover for a person who was incorrectly scheduled. In a few minutes, Tyler was able to diagnose and get us in a decent place until he could make permanent repairs the following Monday. He didn't try to charge us additional fees for coming out twice and no hidden charges between what he said was required and the time it would take. As a matter of fact, said he would quote us on the high side even though he was very confident he (or another tech) would come in below that time (which he did). He even took the time out to take a look at another issue we had at the house (which turned out to be nothing serious). He also spent the time discussing recommendations for disposals and water heaters I am planning to install. I have no idea why you would need to look any further than a company like this. Excellent work & experience from Alder -- I'd recommend to any family or friends looking for a skilled plumber.

Great experience. Tyler was right on time and got right to work. He walked me through what was going on with our drain and offered his expertise. He also looked at our furnace and water heater and offered his thoughts on how to extend their life expectancy.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Needed a new water heater ASPA. They were knowledgeable, thoughtful, more than willing to help me chose the best product. The price quoted was all enclusive, no hidden costs. No up selling, no ghosting which is so common here in Estes Park. When they texted that they were on the way a picture of the repairman was included. I'm so darned impressed. They have a loyal customer for ever.
